Give A Kid A Coat Campaign Nears Monumental 1 Millionth Coat Milestone

JANUARY 27, 2025 - The 38th Annual Give A Kid A Coat campaign is about to hit a huge milestone—1 million coats donated! Since kicking off in 1987, this campaign has helped keep hundreds of thousands of kids and adults in our community warm. And now, thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, we’re just days away from receiving our 1 millionth coat donation.

“Every year, the Give A Kid A Coat campaign is special, but this year is even more meaningful as we approach this milestone,” said Brian Harrell, President of A Cleaner World. “I’m excited for the 1 millionth coat donation – it’s going to be a celebration. Folks should stay tuned over the next few days to find out more as we get closer to that goal.”

The community is encouraged to keep the momentum going by dropping off outgrown or unused coats at any A Cleaner World location before February 8th. A Cleaner World cleans and repairs all donated coats, which are then distributed by The Salvation Army to families in need.
