A Cleaner World Blog
Donations Continue to be Steady in Week 2
Donations for the 2024 Give A Kid A Coat campaign have continued to pour in. A Cleaner World has collected and cleaned 3,635 coats during the first two weeks of this year’s campaign. Winston-Salem and Kernersville locations have collected 1,100 coats, High Point – 1,197 coats, Greensboro - 880 coats, and Burlington has collected 219 coats so far. Over 470 coats have been collected from locations outside of the Piedmont Triad.
“We’ve already seen plenty of nights below freezing, but with temperatures expected to dip into the teens over the next few days, the time to donate gently used coats is now.” – Van Denton, Fox8 Chief Meteorologist.
To help make a difference during this year’s Give A Kid A Coat campaign, simply drop off outgrown or unused coats at any A Cleaner World location. A Cleaner World will clean and repair all donated coats and give them to The Salvation Army for distribution. Families in need of coats should check with their local Salvation Army office for distribution information, or visit: http://www.acleanerworld.com/aboutus/givingback.aspx
