Donations Continue to be Steady in Week 2

January 18, 2023

Donations for the 2023 Give A Kid A Coat campaign have continued to pour in. A Cleaner World has collected and cleaned 3,869 coats during the first two weeks of this year’s campaign.  Winston-Salem and Kernersville locations have collected 1,322 coats, High Point – 1,054 coats, Greensboro - 865 coats, and Burlington has collected 479 coats so far. Over 150 coats have been collected from locations outside of the Piedmont Triad.

“These cold temperatures are going to be around for a while,” said Fox8 Chief Meteorologist Van Denton. “This campaign is a way we can ensure local children and families stay warm.”

To help make a difference during this year’s Give A Kid A Coat campaign, simply drop off outgrown or unused coats at any A Cleaner World location.  A Cleaner World will clean and repair all donated coats and give them to The Salvation Army for distribution.  Families in need of coats should check with their local Salvation Army office for distribution information, or visit: http://www.acleanerworld.com/aboutus/givingback.aspx

Give A Kid A Coat is sponsored by A Cleaner World, WGHP/Fox8, 1075KZL, WKRR Rock 92, and The Salvation Army.
