37th GIVE A KID A COAT CAMPAIGN UNDERWAY
The 2024 Give A Kid A Coat campaign kicked off on Friday, January 5, with live events at A Cleaner World locations in High Point and Winston-Salem. Joined by The Salvation Army, WGHP/Fox8, and WKZL/ROCK 92, the ask was made to the community to drop off new and/or gently used jackets for families in need. Over 1,400 coats were donated through this year’s kickoff.

Brian Harrell, VP of A Cleaner World said, “To kick off our 37th year with over 1,400 jackets donated is a true testament to the support of our community and how impactful this campaign is.”
We would also like to thank AAA Storage, the North Carolina RV Dealers Association Show, and Go Green Plumbing who are media sponsors for the 2024 campaign.
The Piedmont area Give A Kid A Coat program has collected and cleaned over 967,600 coats since the campaign’s inception in 1987. The 2024 campaign will end on Saturday, February 10, 2024.
Residents wishing to participate can bring their outgrown coats or coats no longer being worn to any A Cleaner World location. Coats will be cleaned, repaired, and given to The Salvation Army for distribution to children and adults in need.
