2026 Give A Kid A Coat Campaign Underway Following Community Kickoff

January 5, 2026 – The 2026 Give A Kid A Coat campaign launched on Friday, January 2, with live kickoff events at A Cleaner World locations in High Point and Winston-Salem. Community partners including The Salvation Army, WGHP/FOX8, 107.5 KZL, and Rock 92 joined together to encourage donations of new and gently used coats for children and adults in need. 

Over 1,000 coats were donated during kickoff day events. An additional 700+ coats were collected ahead of kickoff through internal drives hosted by local companies and organizations prior to the holidays.

The Give A Kid A Coat campaign will continue through Saturday, February 7, 2026. Residents wishing to participate can bring outgrown coats or those no longer being worn to any A Cleaner World location, where they will be professionally cleaned and repaired as needed before being distributed by The Salvation Army to individuals and families across the community. Those wishing to make monetary donations for The Salvation Army to purchase coats can do so online here.
