2025 Give A Kid A Coat: Ice and Snow Hinder but Don’t Stop Steady Week One Donations

JANUARY 13, 2025 - The 2025 Give A Kid A Coat campaign is in full swing, and thanks to the generosity of our community, we are making strides toward our goal of collecting 1 million coats since the campaign’s inception in 1987. “We have about 10,000 coats to go, so we’re calling on everyone to help us reach this milestone and make a difference in the lives of families in need,” said Brian Harrell, President of A Cleaner World.

Despite the inclement weather this past weekend, turnout was consistent, and we are hopeful for even greater participation as the campaign continues. Each coat donated represents warmth, comfort, and hope for someone facing the harsh winter months.

Residents wishing to participate can drop off new or gently used coats at any A Cleaner World location. Each coat will be cleaned, repaired as needed, and distributed by The Salvation Army to children and adults in need. Those wishing to make monetary donations for The Salvation Army to purchase coats can do so online here.
