Steady Donations for Give A Kid A Coat
Donations to the Give A Kid A Coat program remained steady during week 1 of the campaign. To date, 5,280 coats have been donated.
“As a parent, my kids are my #1 priority. It gives a new perspective on how important it is to donate coats to kids in need,” said Katie from the Jared and Katie in the Morning show on 1075KZL.
To donate, simply drop off your outgrown coats or coats no longer being worn to any A Cleaner World in North Carolina or Virginia. A Cleaner World will clean and repair the coats and give them to The Salvation Army to distribute. Distribution information is available through your local Salvation Army or the A Cleaner World website.
In addition to coats, The Salvation Army can use monetary donations to fill in the gaps on coat sizes that aren’t received through collections. If you don’t have a coat to donate, please consider making a monetary gift to this campaign through The Salvation Army Give A Kid A Coat 2022 Donations to ensure that every child in the Triad is warm this winter.
Give A Kid A Coat is sponsored by A Cleaner World, Fox 8/WGHP, 1075KZL, Rock92, and The Salvation Army. This year’s campaign ends on Saturday, February 12th.
