This is the Last Week to Give A Kid A Coat for 2021
The 2021 Give A Kid A Coat campaign finished up week four with a campaign to date coat count of 16,969.
“Won’t you help us finish the campaign strong this year,” said Fox8’s Van Denton. “There is still a great need for coats for the children of our community. Please stop by A Cleaner World and drop some off today.”
If you would like to donate a coat to keep a child or adult warm this winter, simply drop off an outgrown coat or a coat no longer being worn at the nearest A Cleaner World location. A Cleaner World will clean and repair the coats and then The Salvation Army makes sure these coats go to needy children and adults. Families in need of coats can visit the A Cleaner World website to check on distribution times and locations as these vary by city. If you don’t have a coat to donate but would still like to help, The Salvation Army accepts monetary donations ear-marked specifically for Give A Kid A Coat. Donations will be used to purchase new coats in much needed sizes and to help offset Salvation Army expenses associated with distributing coats.
Give A Kid A Coat is sponsored by A Cleaner World, The Salvation Army, Fox8/WGHP, 1075KZL, WKRR/Rock92, AAA Storage, and Go Green Plumbing. This year’s campaign ends on Saturday, February 13, 2021.
