A Cleaner World Blog

Anyone can own and operate a carpet cleaner; as a matter of fact, I have one.  I use it mostly for mishaps between what I like to call ‘real’ cleanings.  That’s because I know if I want my rugs to not only truly be clean but to also be in the best condition possible, I need to leave that to a properly trained and certified professional.

That’s how A Cleaner World approaches everything we do; so, when we decided to get into the rug cleaning business 15 years ago, we did our due diligence and started with the best – the IICRC.  The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) is a certification and standard-setting non-profit organization for the inspection, cleaning, and restorations industries.  Not only did we want our technicians to receive extensive training, we also wanted them to be certified by the organization that sets the gold standards in the rug and restoration industry.

Greg Henderson, Manager of A Cleaner World Rug Cleaning, has the designation of Master Textile Cleaner, having received certifications in 11 different courses.  Overachiever.  But what that shows is the level of commitment Greg has to performing his craft at the highest professional level possible, and that translates to our customers knowing that a certified, experienced, and qualified professional is caring for their valuable rug.

If you are in the Triad or Triangle area and have a rug that needs some special care, give Greg a call at 336-992-0700 or visit one of our locations, and if you’re not, below is a link to help you find an IICRC Certified Firm in your area.
