Give A Kid A Coat Concludes 2021 Campaign
Give A Kid A Coat wrapped up its 34th campaign Saturday, February 13th after receiving 17,211 coats for families in need. Since its inception in 1987, Give A Kid A Coat has collected, cleaned, and distributed over 923,909 coats.
"It's encouraging to see our community step up to the plate in the last week of this year's campaign," said Chris Edwards, President of A Cleaner World. "The Salvation Army, Fox8, 1075KZL, Rock92, AAA Self Storage, and all of the employees at A Cleaner World sincerely thank you for making this a win for the children of our area."
The collection process and much of the distribution schedule is complete, but The Salvation Army continues their work of distributing the coats at their Family Stores. Families in need of coats can contact their local Salvation Army office for distribution information.
