Give A Kid A Coat 2022 Campaign Remains Strong
The 2022 Give A Kid A Coat campaign just completed week 3. To date, Give A Kid A Coat for 2022 has received 11,185 coats.
“There are still plenty of cold days left this winter,” said Chris Edwards, President of A Cleaner World. “Let’s put as many of our local children in a warm coat as possible.”
If you would like to donate a coat to keep a child or adult warm this winter, simply drop off an outgrown coat or a coat no longer being worn at the nearest A Cleaner World location. A Cleaner World will clean and repair the coats and then send them to The Salvation Army for distribution. Families in need of coats can visit the A Cleaner World website to check on distribution times and locations as these vary by city. If you don’t have a coat to donate but would still like to help, The Salvation Army accepts monetary donations ear-marked specifically for Give A Kid A Coat. Donations will be used to purchase new coats in much needed sizes and to help offset Salvation Army expenses associated with distributing coats.
Give A Kid A Coat is sponsored by A Cleaner World, The Salvation Army, Fox8/WGHP, 1075KZL, WKRR/Rock92, AAA Storage, and Go Green Plumbing. This year’s campaign ends on Saturday, February 12, 2022.
