Cover The City Happening Now

The Cover the City Project began in 2013 to provide warmth and love to the homeless population in shelters and those who don't use shelters during the coldest months of the year. 

Each year, Cover the City Project hosts a blanket drive throughout its different chapters to collect new and gently used blankets for those in need, and this year, A Cleaner World and Fox 8 are partnering with this worthwhile mission. 

Forsyth and Guilford County A Cleaner World locations will accept blanket donations from October 1 through November 30, while our friends at Fox 8 will bring awareness to this critical need.

To participate, drop off a new or gently used blanket at any one of our Triad locations. We will clean gently used blankets and forward those along with new blankets on for distribution.  Distribution is done through over 30 different organizations and groups, but the larger ones in North Carolina are Open Door Ministries, Greensboro Urban Ministries, Next Step Ministries, The Bethesda Center, Winston Salem Rescue Mission, and West End Ministries. Every donation makes a difference!
