Community Baby Shower
A Cleaner World is so excited to once again team up with our friends at FOX8 to host the Annual FOX8 Community Baby Shower, which is now in its third year! “I can’t believe we’re already in our third year,” said Chris Edwards, President of A Cleaner World. “The awesome thing about having a couple campaigns behind us is that we are hearing stories about how this program is impacting people’s lives. The simple act of donating a package of diapers might be a little thing to you and me, but to someone else it means so much more.”
Below are the details on this year’s program:
What is the Community Baby Shower? It is a program designed to help families with newborns and small children that are struggling to get by.
How does it help those families? Family Service of the Piedmont and Family Services of Forsyth County will receive and distribute the donated items to new mothers and babies in need throughout our community. They also identify specific needs of the family, help the family address those needs, and then help those families become self-sufficient on their own so they can change the path they are on.
How can I help? To participate in the Community Baby Shower simply drop off new things like diapers, wipes, formula, and supplies or gently used things like baby clothes, toys, and cribs at any Triad area A Cleaner World location May 14, 2018 through June 16, 2018.
