Holidays are special because we set aside a special day to observe a special event or to celebrate a person’s or a group’s involvement in creating greatness, and the Labor Day holiday is no exception.  Initially, state and local governments began recognizing the American worker, and on June 28, 1894, Congress passed an act making the first Monday in September of each year a legal holiday in the United States. The Labor Day holiday is an annual acknowledgment of the American worker’s contribution to both the social and economic success of our country.

A Cleaner World would like to expand on that by acknowledging our workers, who are much more to us than just employees. They are skilled professionals who tackle and solve all kinds of problems, look out for one another, and love their customers.  Many of them have been with us for 10, 20, and even 30+ years; they are our family. So, today we celebrate them and their hard work, and most of all, we say thank you.
